Jerry Jariyasunant

Co-Founder

Jerry is an ex-blogger on San Francisco music scene, ex-radio DJ, and ex-San Diegan, but has always and forever been a computer geek.  After spending some time working in the industry as a software engineer where he learned about the horrors of traffic and the daily commute, he sought out a way to combine technology and transportation to better everyone’s lives by helping people get around. He holds degrees in Computer Science from UC San Diego, Transportation Engineering from UC Berkeley, and is currently working on a PhD in Civil Systems at UC Berkeley.

Branko Kerkez

Co-Founder

In his younger and more vulnerable years his father gave him some advice that he he’s turning over in his mind ever since. “Traverse the Bible Belt, play music on the streets, and, upon completion, attend graduate school for as long as it takes.” He didn’t say any more but they’d always been unusually communicative in a reserved way, and Branko understood that he meant a great deal more than that. Branko holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, where he played classical guitar with the Jacare Brazil ensemble, and nearly drowned attempting to play water polo. He completed an MS in Systems Engineering at UC Berkeley, where he will remain until he gets a PhD. Over the years he has garnered valuable programming experience, and, most recently, has deployed wireless sensor networks in Japan and the US. His interests lie in intelligent systems, and bridging the gap between advanced technologies and civil infrastructure.

Jedidiah Horne

Co-Founder

Jed is probably the best Ms. Pacman player you’ll ever meet, and definitely the best Ms. Pacman player ever to have driven the Mexico City subway. At MIT, Jed’ spent his time hosting a popular radio program and writing movie reviews for its student-run newspaper (and picked up a little engineering knowledge along the way). After college, he worked as a research analyst for Newmark Knight-Frank, one of the world’s top commercial real estate brokerage firms, finished graduate school at UC Berkeley in city planning and transportation engineering and started a web development/planning/consulting firm Horne Nee Inc. Jed developed a taste for gambling in his native Big Easy, and tries to sneak trips to Reno whenever possible.

Brendan Nee

Co-Founder

Brendan has been playing with the web for so long he can remember when Netscape was king and the blink tag rocked his world! Lately, hes been splitting his time between running Horne Nee Inc and building out the live work space that he and his company call home. He loves cities, traveling to cities, biking around cities, and taking pictures (of cities). When he’s not goofing off, he’s solving problems using web-based technologies or getting his tech news fix so he can write about it on his blog.
